Today's Verse: Exodus 8:10 (NIV)
“Tomorrow,” Pharaoh said.
Moses replied, “It will be as you say, so that you may know there is no one like the Lord our God."
Pharaoh had summoned Moses to take the plague of Frogs away from the Land of Egypt. Moses' reply was given knowing that God's will would be done and that God's promises are kept.
Today's Comments: If we think about this verse and the plagues that God brought on Egypt, we see that Pharaoh acknowledged that God brought on the plague at the behest of Moses. We then realize that Moses himself knew that whatever he asked of God would be granted, prompting Moses' reply of confidence and praise of the powers of God. It is for us to realize that God has this kind of power in our lives, if we just accept that fact and call upon Him.

consider all the worlds Thy hands have made,
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy pow’r thruout the universe displayed!

O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy pow’r thruout the universe displayed!
When thru the woods and forest glades I wander and hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees, when I look down from lofty mountain grandeur and hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze.
And when I think that God, His Son not sparing, sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in—That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin!
When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation and take me home, what joy shall fill my heart! Then I shall bow in humble adoration and there proclaim, my God, how great Thou art!
Refrain: Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee; how great Thou art, how great Thou art! Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee; how great Thou art, how great Thou art!
